Sheep believe they
can control their own world.

Goats utilize hidden
sources of power to expand their worlds.

The Two Paths

There are two starting
paths for growth: Discipline and Trust.

The path of Discipline
(the Yu way) is self directed.
-
The path of Trust
(the Wu way) is outer-world directed.
-
Discipline plus
vital energy leads to action.
-
Awareness plus
vital energy leads to Trust or Faith.
-
Both paths must
ultimately be mastered.
-
The Higher path
integrates the two paths and yet is neither.
-
The path and the
Goal are one.
-
Discipline/awareness
creates the observed world.
-
Action/Trust activates
the observed world.

The Force of Evolution
-
Each life form
evolves in attempting to maximize its own world.
-
Conflict expedites
evolution.
-
The driving force
of evolution is vital energy or vitality.
-
Vital energy reverses
the normal flow of entropy or disorder.
-
Goats change the
entropy of the world using vital energy.
-
Goats escape death.
-
Institutions and
sheep slowly die for lack of vitality.
-
Society is afraid
of evolution and resists it.
-
Evolution produces
miracles, which, once created, are no longer miraculous.
-
With evolution,
the present seems miraculous as viewed from the past.
-
With stagnation,
the past seems miraculous as viewed from the present.
-
Becoming but never
attaining is the process called evolution.

The Higher Path
of Goats

The Higher Path
for goats starts as discipline integrated with awareness.
-
Following the Higher
Path requires trust translated into action.

Goats act without
concern for the consequences.
-
Vitality energizes
the goat.
-
The vital force
has many names and underlies modern religious practices.
-
Vitality can be
increased.
-
Other goats energize
goats.
-
Institutions oppose
the generation of excess vitality.
-
Increasing vitality
is the quest of mystical/spiritual groups.
-
Groups exist to
share and teach techniques at various levels.
-
The lotus is a
symbol of the Higher path.

Vitality
-
Vitality is aroused
by the mind, breath, posture, and sexual pressure.
-
Vital force is
evidenced as extreme pleasure.
-
Goats escape the
sheep's ruts with vital energy.
-
Vital energy alters
time.
-
Vitality increases
strength and endurance.
-
Vital energy brings
knowledge without thought.
-
The vital force
opens doors to altered states of consciousness.
-
Vital energy overcomes
pain.
-
Vitality is increased
through certain pleasures.
-
Vitality can be
increased by extreme trauma, emergencies or stress.
-
Vitality can be
increased with special practices.
-
Practices involve
body and mind control.

Body Control
-
Society has conditioned
the body to suppress vital energy.
-
Control of the
body starts with learning controlled relaxation.
-
Correct posture
is very important.
-
Stretching is vitalizing.
-
Correct breathing
starts with forced exhalation.
-
Breathing becomes
slow, vibrant, and even.
-
The body is stimulated
with perineal pressure, motion and breath.
-
Control comes with
time and practice.

Mind Control
-
The mind must be
dedicated to the practice.

One starts with
concentration without thought or "dhyana".
-
Beginning concentrations
or "dharana" focus on relaxing, breathing or repeated mental sound.

Intermediate concentrations
focus on inner sounds or sensations.
-
Imagination is
used to stimulate and control.
-
Altered biochemistry
of the body follows proper concentration.
-
Inner sounds and
pressures are pleasurable and stimulating.
-
Advanced concentrations
are from a higher state of consciousness.
-
The inner self
is changing, becoming, but never attaining.

Integrating Mind,
Body, and Vitality

Evolution requires
the integration of mind and body with vitality.

Dedication determines
evolution or regression.
-
Conditioned preference
for status quo suppresses evolution.

Trust overcomes
attachment for status quo.

Discipline faces
the challenge of the present.
-
Challenge, trust,
and discipline increase vital energy.
-
Emotions have two
states, one controlling, one controlled.
-
Emotions drain
vitality when conditioned and inward.
-
Emotions become
vitalizing when projected and outward.
-
Increased vital
energy illuminates the present.
-
The present becomes
the reality and expectations drop away.
-
Without expectations
evolution may proceed.
