Preface |
|
The title of this book was chosen to reflect something very important going on in America. America has seemed to develop an inferiority complex concerning spirituality and the so-called esoteric or Eastern disciplines. From my experience, however, I find that America is now probably leading the world in individual development programs. I managed to get a copy of a scientific proposal to the Indian Government from the All India Hospital. The proposal was for the government to furnish funds for the research into Kundalini Yoga. One of the main arguments given was that the U.S. had been doing intensive research into meditation and other Yoga practices, whereas, India had done very little if any at all.
